Event Setup

What to Expect as a Set-Up Volunteer

As a volunteer on our event set-up team, you will play a crucial role in bringing our event to fruition by assisting with various tasks, including:

  • Putting up event signage

  • Setting up tables

  • Arranging chairs

  • Assembling tents

  • Setting up the step and repeat banner

  • Assisting with the set-up of a bounce house

VIP - Artists

What to expect as a VIP - Artist Volunteer

Your primary responsibilities will include checking in the artists, providing assistance to BMikeRob, and making sure that the artists are fully prepared to perform.

When artists arrive, you will be responsible for helping them check in behind the stage and ensuring that each artist receives a personalized lanyard with their name on it. It will be important to manage the backstage area and ensure that only the authorized personnel, including the artists, dancers, and their manager/parent, are granted access.

Furthermore, there is a waiting room designated for the artists to relax and prepare before their performance time. Artists are required to check in 2 hours prior to their designated performance time, and they must be backstage at least 30 minutes before their performance. You will be provided with a printed schedule of events as well as access to the online schedule to keep track of the performance timings.

After their performance, artists will have the option to either leave the event or stay and enjoy the performances of other artists. Your support as a VIP - Artist Volunteer will ensure that the artists feel supported and organized, allowing them to focus on delivering outstanding performances.

Event Breakdown

What to Expect as a Breakdown Volunteer

As a volunteer on our event breakdown team, you will be vital in the post-event clean-up process, assisting with various tasks, including:

  • Removing event signage

  • Breaking down tables

  • Clearing chairs

  • Dismantling tents

  • Taking down step and repeat banners

  • Removing event banners

  • Deflating and packing up the bounce house

  • and additional responsibilities that may arise as we approach the event date

Time Commitment and Flexibility

Event breakdown will commence at 6:00 pm and is expected to conclude by 8:00 pm. Should we finish the breakdown earlier, all volunteers will still receive credit for their time and effort. We understand the value of your time and commitment

Registration Table

Join What to Expect as a Registration Table Volunteer

You will be scanning tickets and assisting guests with registering for a ticket.  You will have to download an app from your phone or tablet to scan tickets and give out wristbands.  Each attendee will be required to sign waiver form in person or online. No money will be exchanged as this is a free event.  Each attendee will receive wristbands. Time slots are in increments of 2 hours.  

Join Us as a Volunteer: Registration Desk

Are you ready to be an integral part of our upcoming event? We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to assist with the smooth operation of our registration desk, and we want you to be a part of it!

As a volunteer at the registration desk, your responsibilities will include scanning tickets and guiding guests through the registration process. To facilitate this, volunteers will use a designated app that can be easily downloaded onto your phone or tablet. Our team will be there to support you in getting familiar with the app and ensuring a seamless registration experience for all our guests.

As this event is free for all attendees, no monetary transactions will take place at the registration desk. Every guest will receive a complimentary wristband upon registration, which grants them access to the event activities.


Concessions

What to Expect at the Concession Stand

As a volunteer at the concession stand, you will be responsible for managing and serving a variety of mouth-watering items, including hot dogs, nachos, chips, drinks, slushies, and more. 

Cashless Transactions for Convenience

To streamline the purchasing process and ensure a hassle-free experience for our guests, all transactions at the concession stand will be conducted cashlessly. This means that all purchases will be made through electronic payment methods, allowing for quick and efficient service.
